Rocco

ROCCO (they/he/IT) is an interdisciplinary artist (DJ, producer, archivist, painter, and organizer) based in New York City. Their developing sound weaves elements from old school industrial, experimental, punk, and glitch with a clear nod to the quintessential jacking American style originating in Chicago.

They founded FIGA, a queer collective focused on honoring the American roots of techno and platforming modern pioneers of dance music to facilitate community and expand the reach of the underground artists who have inspired them.

In quintessential ROCCO fashion, this mix burns slow and teases the trajectory to keep you on your toes and moving your body.
