Getting her footing as an open format DJ under the moniker Wassup Gina, she quickly took hold of the Philadelphia dance community. Her agility and innateawareness of trends after dark led her to become the booker of iconic dance dive, The Barbary. With this platform she hosted her own scene sculpting events,carving out community spaces with her own subversive music enclaves.
