CID RIM

The Em Trânsito (ER) opens its second season on Veneno with the participation of austrian musician and producer Cid Rim, who signs an exclusive mix for the program.

Born Clemens Bacher, Cid Rim is known for his prolific partnership with Oliver Johnson and Paul Movahedi, a.k.a.  Dorian Concept and The Clonious respectively. Together they founded Affine Records in 2008 which has released over 20 records to date.

Musician and producer, he prints in his productions a mixture of jazz and electronic music driven by drums.  His second studio album, “Songs Of Vienna”, was released in October 2021 by Scottish label LuckyMe.

Highlighted in the Vienna jazz scene, CID RIM is a frequent contributor to Petite Noir, Okmalumkoolkat and Denai Moore, in addition to having signed works for Sky Ferreira, Chvrches, Theophilus London and The 1975. He also participated in the ‘Africa Express’ alongside Damon Albarn and Brian Eno.

“I made this mix for a certain type of situation: At the end of a long day’s work i sometimes need a little motivation for the last hour. A soundtrack for the transition from day to night time, this is what i made this mix for. It is meant to get you in the mood to go out for a drink, meet some friends and enjoy the evening.”, says Bacher, who presents in addition to two songs, + a remix of his for a song by Lylit, and also tracks by Salute and Dorian Concept, all unreleased.

The Em Trânsito is a LabEXP radio experiment, occasionally presented at Veneno.
