Aspirin-Mint

In their band Rivera Gaz, Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth), Gustavo Riviera (The Forgotten Boys), and Paulo Kishimoto (Pitty) explore threads of psychedelia and cosmic groove, and Aspirin Mint is an extended dive into the songs that inspire, inform, and confound the trio. Drawn from tracks the three have collected in their musical adventures around the globe, this weekly show changes shape often, moving through freeform constellations of Funk, Soul, 70’s, Latin, Indie, Tropicalia, Jazz, post-punk, dub, and beyond.
